Campus Vibes Returns & Refunds Policy

At Campus Vibes, we want every student to love their dorm room essentials. We curate practical, stylish products that make college life easier and more comfortable. If something doesn’t feel right, we’re here to help resolve it fairly and quickly.

Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days from the date of delivery for most items.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return or refund, items must meet these conditions:

  • Unused and in original, resalable condition.
  • All original packaging, tags, labels, instructions, and accessories included.
  • Proof of purchase required (order number from your confirmation email).

Non-returnable items include:

  • Final sale, clearance, or heavily discounted items (unless defective or damaged on arrival).
  • Items that have been used, installed, assembled, plugged in, or show any signs of wear or handling.
  • Personalized or custom-made products (if we offer them in the future).
  • Opened personal care, hygiene, or intimate items (if any appear in our catalog).
  • Digital downloads or gift cards (not currently offered).

How to Start a Return

  1. Email hello@campusvibes.us within the 30-day window. Include your order number, reason for return, and clear photos (especially helpful for defective or damaged claims).
  2. We will review your request (typically within 1–2 business days) and reply with:
    • A Return Authorization (RA) number (if approved).
    • Exact return shipping address and instructions.
  3. Ship the item back securely using a trackable method. Keep your tracking number until the process is complete. Returns must be sent from within the United States to the address we provide.

Return Shipping Costs

  • Change of mind, wrong size/color preference, or “didn’t like it”: You are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using an insured, trackable service.
  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect item: We cover reasonable return shipping or provide a prepaid label. Contact us with photos first — in many cases we can resolve this with a refund, replacement, or store credit without requiring you to return the item.

Refunds

  • We inspect returned items upon receipt.
  • Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive and approve the return.
  • You’ll receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed.
  • Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, defective, or damaged on arrival).
  • Partial refunds may apply if the item is returned missing parts, with damaged packaging caused by handling, or in a condition that reduces resale value.

Note: Credit/debit card refunds can take additional time (usually 3–7 extra days) depending on your bank or card issuer.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. This keeps the process fast and simple. If you need a different variant, return the original item following the steps above and place a new order for the preferred item.

Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Item Received

We stand behind the quality of our products. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect:

  • Contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 48 hours of delivery) with photos and your order number.
  • We prioritize fast, low-hassle resolutions — full refund, replacement, or store credit — often without you needing to ship anything back.
  • Your trust matters to us as we build Campus Vibes for the student community.

Final Sale Items

Products marked “Final Sale,” clearance, or sold during special promotions are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective. This is clearly noted on the product page.

Shipping & Returns Note

Campus Vibes currently ships to addresses within the United States only. All returns must originate from within the US and be shipped to the address we provide in your RA email.
